On the latest episode of her show, Suze Orman gave three credos by which to live your financial life. I think they are also applicable to your whole life:

1. Never talk yourself into trusting anyone.

2. It’s better to do nothing than something you do not understand.

3. You must trust yourself more than you trust others.

And remember: People first, then money, then things. Now you stay safe.

“Life goes by pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

Sometimes you get to choose who you are, and I am proud of the person I have chosen to be.

I love love love Can’t Get a Date. I wish VH1 had kept running the series. Now the only place I can watch occasional episodes is Logo, and they don’t show any of the straight ones. I takes what I can get.

Words to live by, people.

Appreciate your friends while they are in your life, and thank them for making you a better person. When the time comes for you to part ways, cherish the good times you had together and the value that they brought into your world.

This deepness comes from years of making and losing friends, usually not of my own accord. Don’t think that I’m all happy that I’m no longer friends with certain people. I do miss them, and I’m hurt that they left me. However, one should reflect, digest and move on to new experiences and new relationships.

Also, if your friends are not making you a better person, but instead are pulling you down? You need to think about why you associate with those people, and if that is really how you want to live your life.

Trust in yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else does, or at least you should. If you don’t know yourself that well, take some time to think about who you are, what you want, and your life and its direction.
